PAINT CLUB x Fokusfestival I Saturday, 11 September 2010 17:00 (für Deutsch bitte runterscrollen) Berlin to Görlitz, Popkomm to Fokusfestival, we went to Eastern Germany, to bring them THE PAINT CLUB. With the sun travelling with us, everything is alright and we are full of motivation, Rock and Roll. The second day of the New Yorker PAINT CLUB Battle Tour is now over, and the clock is ticking, twice as fast on our side. After a short tour around Görlitz we stopped at the Basta Club, which hosted our tonights battle along aside the Fokusfestival. The crowed was already cheering as we arrived at the location. So we quickly set up the canvases and ate tasty vegan burgers and started the show. This time 3house was facing the local battleteam Jojo-effect, which was supported by a third member of the Basta team, so we had a 2 vs 3 Battle. The artists and the crowd had a great time, 90 minutes of fine What!What! Music, and 2 very great and different artworks. The audience declared the local heroes as the winners; they really did a good job on the western theme. After this, we listened to Pitchtuner at the Basta and went to our sweet hotel. Some hours of sleep later, we went to the Fokus Festival, an urban and sub-cultural meeting. Lots of Graffiti, BMX, Skateboarding, Snowboarding, and great Music, like Talking To Turtles, a Band from Leipzig. Great Atmosphere, you got to check this thing out, at least next year.
